Terms & Conditions
Check In:
- Check in time is from 14h00 to 23h00
- Check out time is by 10h00
- Early check-ins & late check-outs can be arranged at an additional fee of R100-00 per hour but cannot be guaranteed as rooms are subject to availability. The same room cannot be guaranteed either.
- Unauthorized early check-ins or late check-outs will be billed accordingly.
- All reservations must be confirmed in writing by completing the check in form & giving your ID or Drivers license for us to make a copy of it. Your reservation will be confirmed once these are complete.
- Guests Checking In will be required to pay a refundable deposit fee of R100 in cases of loss/damage to Lido Hotel’s rooms & property.
- No booking will be confirmed without a copy of the signed terms & conditions, a copy of ID or drivers license, payment of the deposit and payment of stay.
Rooms
- Our rooms sleep a maximum of 2 people.
- Any additional people wanting to share a room would be required to take a additional room or a family room.
- Our rooms are strictly non-smoking
- Any person failing to comply with our non-smoking rule would be liable to pay a R500 penalty.
- Smoking is only allowed outside the building, the balcony of rooms or the designated smoking area.
- Our rooms amenities include satellite TV, complimentary tea & coffee station, and complimentary Wi-Fi. Some rooms do have additional amenities depending on the category which is booked.
- Our rooms do not cater for room service. Meals ordered at the restaurant including breakfast should be eaten in the dining room.
Meals
- Any special meal requirements must be arranged prior to check in
- Breakfast is served from 7h00 until 11h00
- The dining facilities are open for dinner from 06h30 to 20h00
- Please note all food on our menu is halal. You are welcome to forward any dietary requirements in advance.
Laundry Service
- Laundry services are available at an additional cost.
- Laundry services have a 12 to 36-hour turn-around time.
- Lido Hotel does not offer dry cleaning services. .
Pool
- Guests of Lido Hotel are permitted free use of the Pool and Pool area if they are staying at the hotel.
- Should there be an event taking place in the immediate surrounding area or pool area. Guests are asked to please respect the event and other guests which have hired out the venue. The use of the pool would not be advised on such occasions.
- Children are not allowed at the pool area unsupervised.
Children
- Rooms at Lido Hotel accommodate a maximum of 2 guests.
- 1 Child 3 years or younger per room may share with his / her parents / guardians at no additional charge.
- Children are not allowed to be left unattended in the rooms at any time.
- Children are not permitted to use the swimming pool unsupervised.
- Use of the swimming pool is only permitted by prior arrangement with management.
Terms & Conditions
- Rates quoted are in South African Rand (ZAR).
- Rates and availability are subject to change without notice.
- A maximum of 2 guests are permitted per room when booking a twin / sharing room and a maximum of 1 guest is permitted per room when booking a single room. Unauthorized guests will be billed at the full rate per person.
- Lido Hotel reserves the right to charge for any damages. Any amount for breakages exceeding this refundable breakage deposit fee to Lido Hotel’s property will be payable before departure. Guests will not be allowed to leave.
- All outstanding bills such as laundry, beverages etc. must be settled before checking out
- Additional services such as laundry, beverage tabs etc. will not be permitted if credit card details have not been received.
- Lido Hotel reserves the right to change quoted rates accordingly should Government change the percentage level of VAT or introduce any other tax levy.
- All non-guaranteed bookings for groups of guests will be released at Lido Hotels’ discretion should no deposit be made to secure your reservation.
- Guests are requested to keep noise levels down & to respect other guests at Lido Hotel. Guests who do not adhere to this will be asked to vacate the premises by security.
- All rooms are non-smoking. Guests who smoke in the rooms will be charged a penalty of R500.
- Right of admission is reserved & Lido Hotel reserves the right to evict any person/s at any time should there be any irregularities on the guest’s behalf.
Cancelations
- All booking amendments or cancellations must be done in writing.
If there is a:
- Cancellation up to 3 days prior to check-in date – Guests get a refund of 100% of Reservation Value.
- Cancellation within 3 days to check-in – Guests get a refund of 70% of Reservation value.
- Cancellation on the day of check-in or there is a No Show or Early Departure – Guests are responsible for full Reservation Value.
